The Wildlife Conservation Society invited Cyndi and Avalanche to a screening and brunch in the House Science Committee Room in the House of Representatives Office Building on Capitol Hill. They attended the Wildlife Conservation Society's Premiere of Living With Predators - a short film on Carnivores in Crisis. The Film was narrated by Glenn Close. And of course, Avalanche got to meet the award winning actress and supporter of Predator Conservation.

Maryland, College Park, MD on 4/30/06. The Alpha
Sigma Phi Fraternity brothers at the University of Maryland who chose CCI as their philanthropy project.
A highlight of the Walk was the awarding of tickets to a Washington Nationals game to the participant with the highest dollar amount in pledges; puppy-in-training Dexter emerged as the winner! As a result of the Fraternity’s hard work and the participants’ enthusiasm, $600 was raised to help promote CCI and all that the organization means to its clients and volunteers. Thanks to the members of Alpha Sigma Phi!
